When you sell us or donate your old or dead computer .... you have peace of mind knowing that the information on your hard drive is completely, irretrievably deleted. We use a program called Killdisk to remove all recognizable formatting from your hard drive. There is no risk of information being retrieved. ALSO, you can feel good knowing that your hardware is not becoming electronic waste, contaminating the landfills. FURTHERMORE, many cannot afford a new computer. PC Frankenstein addresses that by providing affordable computers to the less fortunate at a reduced rate or sliding scale fee. PC Frankenstein does not resell the donated hardware. It is given away. The only money partially recouped is the labor that goes into rehabbing used equipment.
